Dear Mediterranean Lovers,
The essential ingredients to any summer holiday is: feeling the sun on your skin, the sand between your toes, endless swims in crystal blue seas, eating delicious food at quaint tavernas by the shoreline, the nervous system quietly humming in a contented state of absolute bliss and that sense of feeling that everything in the world is exactly as it should be.
But so often, we miss out on doing any of that.
There were countless times where I wanted to make plans, but had no one to make them with. It was frustrating, disheartening and always made me feel like I was missing out while everyone else was out there having fun.
I know there are countless women out there who’ve experienced the same. Your sense of adventure is calling you, but your plans are on hold and your getaway is out of sight because you feel a reluctance to go solo. Instead of pulling out your passport and packing your bags, you’re at the office staring at the screen and daydreaming of swims in crystal blue seas, bright sunsets and that state of being sunkissed and completely relaxed, knowing that’s as far as your summer holiday getaway is likely to go.
Part of the reason why I created my Retreats was so women would no longer feel that they were missing out or compromising what they wanted to do just because they didn’t have a partner or had friends who struggled to make up their minds about getting away. Instead, it was about bringing together a group of inspiring, likeminded women who could feel confident about being away, relish in the experience of doing something new, knowing that this year was all about them and the fact there was no way they were going to miss out.
If you’re experiencing that dreaded feeling of knowing that summer is creeping up and your plans are quickly fading into the distance, then it’s time to kiss that dread goodbye. This September is your chance to join me and a gorgeous group of inspiring women for a: Food, Writing & Creative Escape to the beautiful Greek island of Serifos, in the heart of the Cyclades. Think whitewashed homes, cobblestone streets, days of sunshine & swims, rustic feasts and a permanent smile fixed on your face from being in a state of pure happiness…
Happy travels, Paula x
