Dear Passionate Creatives,

Let me share something you might not know about me…

Before the world of Mediterranean Wanderer came and opened up my life, I was a very different kind of gal…

I was the gal that had forgotten who she was, had lost her spark and left behind the things she loved and made her feel excited about the world. My sense of adventure and spontaneity had become muted. I’d unplugged my life force…

Here’s a little something I learnt about life force. This is the source that makes our soul feel alive, reminds us of our passion and ignites our zest for life…It is the thing that inspires our creativity, motivates us to enrich ourselves and compels us to do more…

When we are connected to our life force, our creative wellspring is overflowing and we feel deliriously abundant. We’re triggered by an insatiable appetite to be in the natural flow of life. Our sense of adventure takes over and we become unstoppable. Suddenly we are making plans to learn the Tango, boldly smile at the handsome man walking our way, book a flight on a whim to head overseas, enrol into our very first drawing class and become excited at the enormity of what life wants to present us with…We exude a vibrancy that lights our path and has the person next to us thinking I want some of that…

When we feed our soul with things that make us feel good and inspire our wellbeing, we make a very conscious decision in that moment about who we want to be. Each time we choose to nurture what makes us happy, we choose to be awake to life and the enormity of our potential. We openly embrace our passion and no longer resort to tired excuses. We can’t opt for mediocre anymore because our new-found adventure and excitement reminds us that mediocre is a word in our vocabulary that no longer serves us. In that moment, we get to experience what a life led by inspiration looks like and what a life led by fear and deprivation looks like.

We experience very quickly where each path has the capacity to take us and so we make our choice about who we want to be.

It took years for me to find the gal I’d lost. She’d become buried in mundane routine, feeling bored, confined and stifled. But finding her has taught me a most valuable lesson. Feeding our soul and our internal spark is how we reclaim the sass, fire and zest that allows us to become awake to life, connects us to our passion and all that it wants to invite in. It reminds us of our precious value and has us clinging to it for dear life, promising ourselves we will never let it become lost again.

Happy Travels, Paula x
