From time-to-time, we all need to adopt a little Zorba the Greek madness…Throw caution to the wind, take a risk, dive head-first into great decisions where the heart screams YES, let our Passions take the lead and trust that the very thing calling our heart is exactly the direction we need to go…
You always know when you’re in the company of someone who has found their passion and knows how to dance with that inner madness. They have a spark, an inner glow that beams from inside them. A twinkle in the eye and an infectious playful cheekiness that is captivating. It’s no secret how they got there. At some point they made a decision, took a risk, followed their heart and attempted to take that dance with Life. They put their trust in the Universe and in return, the Universe gifted them the greatest reward and made it work.

For me that madness of Zorba is a reminder of what lurks within all of us. When we are truly allowing that free-spirit within us to have full rein, we are accessing our greatest passions, saying Yes to possibilities that we’d otherwise turn our backs on and we are inching on the edge of Life where all great adventures happen, instead of hovering smack-bang in the safety net of the middle.
In the wise words of Alexis Zorba, I leave you with these parting thoughts:
“A man needs a little madness, or else…he never dares cut the rope and be free…”
